I thought the topic of stress would be appropriate because of the end of the semester quickly approaching.
Many may not realize how much stress can negatively affect not only the mind, but also the body.
Stress can bring upon emotional breakdowns, physical issues such as headaches, muscle aches, weakening of the immune system, and fatigue. Additionally, it causes you to sleep less, eat more or less, and to put it bluntly, you just feel really crappy.
One way to relieve stress during exams is to pay more attention to your breathing patterns (breath slowly and deeply when you find yourself stressed out). Doing yoga is another way to calm your body and mind. Eating healthy foods rich in vitamins, protein, and minerals and cutting out sugar and oily foods is another way to help with stress. Drink plenty of water and exersice. Not only are all these suggestions good for your body, but it will help you with anxiety.
So, relax! Your mind will be free and you will think more clearly.
