Teaching with puppets and games

The lady in this first youtube video discusses how to teach children by using puppets as props. It grasps a child’s attention and allows them to use their imagination! She uses a paper bag puppet named Mr. Owl as an example. Whether its reading a poem or story, or teaching a lesson, it’s a great way to convey an idea to a child.

The second video is just another video about using puppets to teach kids. A pastor from a church discusses the benefits of using puppets in their youth group.

I feel that if you are going to be teaching young children in the future, a great idea is to obtain many puppets and stuffed animals for your classroom. It allows you to connect to the kids and make a lesson more fun.
